In 1966, I took my first job in insurance at Wigh and Associates, and have made it my goal to learn every facet about the industry ever since. I quickly moved up in the agency, and after nine years was given the opportunity to purchase the business that you now know as Van Beurden Insurance.

I saw that many local groups, from farms to churches to trucking companies, were being under-served, and I developed a simple and effective business strategy that concentrated on meeting needs and surpassing expectations of those clients. Our focus has shifted from local to regional, but our mission to offer our clients unmatched value, superior insurance solutions and a higher level of service remains.
